Avtodor and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development have signed the Consultancy Agreement

On June 30, 2014 the State Company “Avtodor” signed the Consultancy agreement on a remuneration basis for the purpose of developing methods for estimating the efficiency of Avtodor investment projects with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank).

 

The Agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of State Company Sergey Kelbakh and Michal Rutkowski Country Director and Resident Representative of the World Bank in the Russian Federation.

 

Under the terms of the Agreement, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) based on its international best practice accumulated over the years, shall develop and recommend methods for estimating efficiency of investment projects, which, in their turn, shall not contradict the normative and guidance documents of the Russian Federation.

 

The team of World Bank experts shall prepare detailed guidance on conducting and organizing the estimation process, as well as develop a package of methodological recommendations to determine the possibility of project execution using traditional construction method as compared to the majority mechanisms of Public Private Partnership applied in Russia.

 

To validate the procedure the experts of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) together with the State Company “Avtodor” shall designate two construction projects – of regional and/or federal significance. The training of the State Company employees in order to enhance the potential of the company in this field is also provided for in this Agreement.

 

This Agreement is effective until the end of October 2015.
