As of November 1, You May Use Avtodor Transponders for Transit through Western High-Speed Diameter in Saint Petersburg (and in Reverse Direction)

As of November 1, the Avtodor transponder owners may pay for transit through Western High-Speed Diameter in Saint Petersburg (and in reverse direction).

The relevant document was signed between the State Company Avtodor, Avtodor-Platnye Dorogi LLC, Western High-Speed Diameter JSC and Magistral Severnoy Stolitsy LLC, OSSP LLC and SZKK CJSC during the 4th International Conference “The Role and Place of Intelligent Transport Systems in the Paid Road Network of the Russian Federation. Current Trends of Development”, which was opened in Saint Petersburg on October 19.

It should be reminded that starting September 1, transponders produced for payment of fares at sections of M-3 Ukraine, M-4 Don Highways and the section of M-11 Moscow -- Saint Petersburg Highway bypassing Vyshny Volochek (in the Tver Region) can be used for payments at the Moscow -- Solnechnogorsk trunk section of M-11 Highway and in reverse direction. Now, the inter-operator system operating on over 700 km of paid roads includes almost 50 km of Western High-Speed Diameter in Saint Petersburg. From now on, payment of fares at all of these motorways will be possible using only one transponder, regardless of the issuing operator.
