It was organized by Pan-Russian Public Organization Business Russia, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, and the Institute of Modern Development.

In the framework of the Road Constructions and Technologies project Avtodor State Company will toughen requirements to the quality of materials used in construction layers of road dressing. Strict requirements have been advanced to oil bitumen and stone materials. Now normative requirements will be considered for asphalt concrete, foundation materials and ground coat. Much attention is paid to the durability of road dressing, resistance to rut formation, design of high-module asphalt concrete, and production of seamless reinforced concrete dressings and reinforced road constructions with the use of geogrids and geosynthetic materials.

The road and artificial constructions maintenance project targets the introduction of the following technologies: management of road life cycle on the basis of computer modeling; automatic monitoring of the state of roads, diagnostic of the state of non-rigid road constructions; analysis of bridge operation risks.

The project Intellectual transport system development for traffic control will increase the quality of transportation services in compliance with the growing speed and comfort requirements. Innovative traffic control systems will also promote reliability and safety of road erections.

“The introduction of modern technologies and materials, as well as innovative financial and organizational approaches to reconstruction, construction, and operation of roads aim at creating a network of high-speed roads that will yield a major macroeconomic effect and will resolve a series of major tasks to modernize economy,” Sergei Iliopolov said in conclusion.
