Lyudmila Nikolaeva, an Honored Artist of Russia, will perform a new song at the opening of the monument To Those Who Died in Defense of Their Fatherland

Lyudmila Nikolaeva, an Honored Artist of Russia, the Art Director of Russian Soul group wrote a song for the lyrics by poetess Olga Kulanina for the unveiling of the monument To Those Who Died in Defense of Their Fatherland on the 561st kilometer of M-11 Neva Highway. She also is the composer.

The song is already registered under the name My Saved Russia and is dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. The song will premiere on June 27, the day of opening the memorial.

The architectural complex was built as a part of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Victory and is dedicated to the Red Army soldiers who died in Myasnoy Bor in the Novgorod region. It includes a monument and an icon-case. The latter is located on the side of M-11 opposite to the monument. There are two mosaics on the icon-case: with the images of Alexander Nevsky and Our Lady of the Sign.

The memorial is located at the recreation area, where active improvement works are currently under way; in mid-June, it is planned to raise the cross to the icon-case and erect the monument on a pedestal.
