Over 180 units of equipment mobilized in two regions of the Central Federal District to ensure traffic safety

From the evening of January 13 to the middle of the day on January 15 in Moscow and Smolensk Regions, a heavy snowfall and snowstorm, and a temperature drop to minus 15—20 degrees are expected.

The road services of the State Company Avtodor are ready to work under no timeline. On the Central Ring Road (CRR) and the Moscow Region sections of M-1 Belarus, M-3 Ukraine, M-4 Don, M-11 Neva Highways and A-105 Moscow–Domodedovo Airport, 78 multipurpose road maintenance vehicles, 17 loaders, 18 tractors with snow-removal equipment, and 6 land levelers will be engaged.

In Smolensk Region, 39 multipurpose road maintenance vehicles, 7 loaders, 19 tractors with snow removal equipment, and 3 land levelers will be engaged in cleaning and treating the M-1 Belarus Highway with deicing agents.

Drivers are advised to be extremely careful, avoid sudden maneuvers, and keep a safe distance from neighboring vehicles. If possible, refrain from traveling until the weather conditions improve.
