Capital repairs of the bridge in Mariupol were completed

The road builders of the Russian Highways State Company and its contractors rebuilt from the ground up a structure on Novosibirskaya Street in Mariupol in the Donetsk People's Republic that was demolished during the hostilities.

The bridge is 58 m long. As part of the repairs, new piles were installed, 30 beams assembled.

Waterproofing of concrete surfaces is ensured by reinforcement and concreting of interbeam seams. The road builders laid asphalt concrete over the bridge road course, installed fence and railings and applied anti-corrosion protection. The bridge restoration drastically improved transport accessibility for a number of districts of Mariupol, uniting them into a single road network.

Over 50 workers and about 15 units of machinery were employed in the operation.
