More than 150 young pine trees were planted along the M-12 "Vostok" highway

Employees of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Russian Highways State Company together with citizens and gardeners, district administrations and a contracting organization planted more than 150 pine tree saplings in the Vladimir region along the M-12 "Vostok" highway. The new trees contribute to an additional noise-protective forest belt and improve the appearance of the adjacent territory.
The initiative of joint landscaping of the territory on the borders of the M-12 "Vostok" highway, adjacent to the village of Starye Omutishchi, was initiated by representatives of a public attention organization. The Russian Highways State Company supported this idea. Since this section of the highway has been put into operation, this is the second time such an ecological action has been organized. Last year 550 pine seedlings were planted here. They are regularly monitored and necessary reforestation measures are carried out.
Thus, during two stages of landscaping along the highway M-12 "Vostok" more than 700 coniferous trees have already been planted in the same area. Thanks to such activities, not only the environment is improved, but also a comfortable space is created for the residents of nearby settlements.
