Russian Highways signed agreements with governors of six regions
On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Russian Highways State Company signed agreements with the governors of six regions - Rostov, Vladimir, Tver, Novgorod Regions, Perm Territory and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The signing of the agreements will strengthen joint activities and give an impetus to the successful implementation of promising projects.
The cooperation envisages several directions. Among them are plans to develop territories adjacent to highways. The agreement also covers issues related to the location of industrial enterprises, production facilities, transport and logistics centers and determination of the territories' potential with regard to further development.
Special attention will be paid to the exchange of experience in the application of digital technologies and program complexes in their activities, as well as the search for new areas of cooperation.
At the same time, it is envisaged to synchronize regional spatial planning documents with Russian Highways' infrastructure projects and create conditions for localization of production facilities and the emergence of new roadside service facilities, including those aimed at freight and tourist flows.
