More than 250,000 transponders sold for driving through M-4 Don Highway bypassing Vyshny Volochyok at the new M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg Highway

More than 250,000 transponders have been sold for driving through M-4 Don Highway bypassing Vyshny Volochyok at the new M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg Highway since October 2012. Meanwhile, over the past year, more than 161,000 transponders were sold, and the mark of 200,000 sold devices was achieved in September 2016.

It is to be reminded that in 2017 it will be possible to pay for the road by means of a single transponder on M-3 Ukraine, M-4 Don, the new M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg Highways and on Western High-Speed Diameter of St. Petersburg, i.e. throughout the way from Black Sea to the Baltic Sea.

Besides, since December 30, 2016 the transponder owners have received an opportunity to refill the personal account to pay for driving through the toll sections of M-4 Don and M-11 Moscow - St. Petersburg Highways bypassing Vyshny Volochyok by means of Sberbank online service.

Since January 18, 2017, the e-shop of OJSC “Avtodor Toll Roads” will start selling T-pass transponders and related products subject to delivery to the address chosen by the user. The delivery is effected on the territories of more than forty territorial subjects of the Russian Federation, including the city of Moscow as well as Moscow, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Tula, Tver and Tambov regions.

Transponders allow minimizing the time of vehicle passing through toll collection booths. A vehicle with a T-pass on windscreen does not need to stop when passing through the booths; it is enough to only reduce speed to 10-20 km/h. The money is automatically charged off from the account of the transponder. For such vehicles, special traffic lanes are allocated at toll booths. It must be stressed that the transponder allows getting a discount from 20% to 60% depending on a highway section.
