On July 27, Avtodor Group of Companies and Lukoil Group signed an agreement on a joint investment project for the construction of roadside service facilities at the 423rd km of the new M-11 Moscow – St. Petersburg Federal Highway. The agreement was signed by Director General of LUKOIL-Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt, LLC Maxim Khitrov and Director General of Avtodor Management Company Natalia Ermilova.
According to the agreement, two modern LUKOIL filling stations, one on each side of the highway in the Novgorod Region, will be constructed by the end of 2018. Those will be integrated into the new multi-purpose areas, featuring, apart from the filling station itself, parking lots, a shopping center, fast-food restaurants, a car service station, a hotel, as well as recreational areas for drivers and passengers, sporting areas with training equipment and a playground. By 2020, the State Company Avtodor plans to construct totally 21 multi-purpose rest and service areas on M-11 Moscow – St. Petersburg Highway.
During the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the State Company Avtodor Sergei Kelbakh and Vice President for Petroleum Products Sales of PJSC Lukoil Maxim Donde also discussed potential cooperation on other joint roadside infrastructure projects.
