The first conference of the Association was held at the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Compliance Managers Association was established to bring together experts and the entire professional community in the sphere of antimonopoly legislation. It’s designed to disseminate the best practices of Russian companies in building an effective compliance system, to develop modern tools for preventing antimonopoly risks, to elaborate standards and techniques in the sphere of compliance control. The establishment of the Association is supported by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
“The Association will make it possible to establish the process of self-regulation of the system for preventing antimonopoly risks”, said Vadim Solovyov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Compliance Managers, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the State Company Avtodor, “As part of its reform, which is aimed at introducing a risk-based approach, the supervisory authorities are ready to devolve a number of their antimonopoly regulation powers on the companies themselves. But it’s up to us to work out the methodology, criteria for evaluation and effectiveness of supervision. To do this, we have created a platform for public interaction between the professional community and supervision.”
Avtodor is one of the first state-owned companies in Russia to introduce the system of antimonopoly compliance as a corporate standard, as well as the practice of forming the system of compliance control and prevention of antimonopoly risks. In the near future, every Avtodor department will complete risk maps, and the Company will develop an incentive scheme for perfect adherence to the compliance policy, which will be updated in terms of advertising, attracting investment, introduction of innovative technologies, etc.
