Avtodor and Macquarie Capital sign memorandum of understanding

Moscow, December 8, 2010. The Russian Highways State Company (Avtodor) and Macquarie Capital CIS Holding Pty Ltd (Macquarie) signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.  The document was signed by Sergei Kelbakh, acting Chairman of the Board of Avtodor, and Damian Secen, Managing Director, Head of Macquarie in Russia and CIS.

The aim of the Memorandum is to establish and further develop strategic partnership in investing activities between the parties in order to facilitate cooperation in assessing attractiveness of infrastructure projects involving public-private partnership mechanisms.  

As part of the agreement, the parties will form a permanently functioning working group, which will focus on the development of possible efficient investment structures and ways to attract financing for them.

The cooperation between the parties will be based on the principles of mutual trust and sharing of accumulated investment experience.
