Avtodor and Pan-Russian Trade Union of Road Transport Industry and Workers ink cooperation agreement

On Wednesday, June 15, 2011 the State Company Russian Highways and the Pan-Russian Trade Union of Road Transport Industry and Workers concluded an agreement in Moscow.  Avtodor CEO Sergei Kostin and Trade Union Chairman Viktor Mokhnachev signed the agreement.

The main aim of the document is to jointly design and implement social, economic and labor policy based on balanced interests of employees, employers, and the State Company Russian Highways. The agreement aims at preventing and resolving social and labor conflicts, ensuring stability in road companies which participate in the implementation of the program of activities of the state company.

In the framework of the agreement Avtodor will provide assistance in the creation of trade union grassroots and inform road companies about concluded collective labor agreements that use the norms and guarantees stipulated by the Federal Industry Agreement for the road business.   The parties plan to monthly agree their position on legislative and normative acts in the sphere of social and labor relations in the road industry.
