The new M-4 “Don” section will pass through the territory of the Bobrovsky, Pavlovsky and Verkhnemamonsky districts of the Voronezh region, bypassing the village of Losev and the city of Pavlovsk. The road will eliminate the biggest traffic jam in Russia, which occurs annually during the holiday season due to the high traffic intensity and low throughput of the existing two-lane section.
The bypass road will correspond to category 1B, with four lanes separated by oncoming traffic and interchanges at different levels, ensuring maximum traffic safety and driver comfort.
Now at the collection points (PVP), construction and installation work is underway at an active pace. On the PVP 636 km of the main course and on the side PVP for 672 km (entrance to Pavlovskoye) canopies, cabins for operators have already been installed and equipment is being installed.
The main course of the road is almost ready, with the exception of 76 meters, where it is necessary to carry out work on moving the gas pipeline. The asphalt was also laid on a free alternative segment, which was built from scratch, as well as the bypass itself.
The four-lane illuminated paid section starts at 633 km and ends at 715 km. On this segment of M-4 Don there will be an open system of charging, therefore, on the main run there is only one PVP per 636 km. At the entrance to this paid section of the route, drivers will be warned in advance about this.
Tariffs for travel on this site have not yet been approved. They will be calculated in the framework of the Government Decree of January 30, 2016 N 47 on the fare on federal highways.
