New Manufactures of High-Technology Equipment Can Come to the Russian Highways’ Tenders Following the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2012’s Results

The delegation of the Russian Highways, s State Company, headed by Alexander Tselkovnev, Vice-Chairman of the Board, took part in the 21st Intertraffic Amsterdam 2012, the world’s leading trade event in the field of infrastructure, ITS traffic management, safety and parking, the results of which show that many new companies can become suppliers of hi-tech equipment for the Russian highways.


The Russian Highways’ representatives have focused on the intelligent systems, highway lighting, transport weighting control equipment, and highway landscaping elements.

The Russian Highways’ delegation has visited stands of the companies the products of which are already known to the Russian road makers and held a number of meetings with the suppliers which have been successfully cooperating with the Russian Highways for a long time.

As a part of the event, the Russian Highways’ delegation has held negotiations, visited thematic panel discussions and meetings on meteo-development, traffic management, winter road maintenance, creation of intelligent transport systems and weighting control points.


The Russian Highways’ representatives have also visited the specialized meteorological center, one of the Holland Traffic Centers, driven by highways and facilities under reconstruction. All the information obtained during the trip will be processed in the nearest future.
