In September, it is planned to provide service lane on the Central Ring Road on the bridge across the Moscow River

By the end of June, it is planned to install span structures on the support structures of the bridge across the Moscow River at the fourth launch complex of the Central Ring Road (CRR). At the moment, builders are not only installing the span structures, but are also engaged in anti-corrosion protection works on the internal surfaces of the steelworks of the span structures. After the span structures are installed on the support structures and the backwalls of the abutment piers with the filling of the road approach are completed, service transit across the bridge in the left direction will be open on August 15 (according to the work schedule) and in the right direction — on September 1.

At the end of April this year, before the start of the navigation period along the Moskva River, the longitudinal launching of spans was completed. Launching of the left side of the bridge (to the second abutment pier) was completed in February. The work on launching the right span structure of the bridge across the river to the second abutment pier started on March 8 and was completed on March 10. This was preceded by a two-month assembly, inspection and laboratory tests of the box girder the total weight of which amounted to 2,135 tons.

The gear of the span structure was driven by hydraulic jacks. It was moved through the navigating channel of the Moskva River with an average speed of 5 millimeters per minute in the direction from the third to the second abutment piers, which made it possible to launch 93 meters of the bridge in two days on a round-the-clock uninterrupted basis. As a result of the works, the “run” was made on the rolling devices of the second abutment pier of the right direction of the bridge. 102 people and 4 pieces of equipment took part in the preparatory works and directly in launching. After the completion of the next stage, the length of the bridge was 215.2 meters, thereby the builders came to the final fifth stage of launching 83 meters of the bridge.

A three-span bridge across the Moskva River 298.2 meters long with the dimensions between the abutment piers 84 × 130.2 × 84 meters, respectively, 19-meter riverbed abutment piers and a total weight of the steelworks of 4,377 tons will be the result of a large-scale construction of the complex technical structure. The construction of the bridge across the Moskva River began at the end of 2018. According to the work schedule, the completion of the construction of the artificial structure is to be completed in October 2021, but now the bridge is being constructed ahead of schedule. CRR-4 runs from east to south of the Moscow Region, connects M-7 Volga, M-5 Ural, and M-4 Don Highways. It passes through Noginsk, Pavlovsky Posad, Voskresensk and Ramenskoye districts, and Elektrostal and Domodedovo urban districts of Moscow Region. It is almost 97 kilometers long.
