Gazprombank will allocate 4.3 billion RUB for the fifth section of the Central Ring Road

Gazprombank will take part in financing the construction of the fifth launch complex of the Central Ring Road.

The project with a budget of 42.2 billion RUB is being implemented based on a long-term investment agreement and involves the construction, maintenance, as well as repair, including overhaul, of the highway. The customer is Russian Highways State Company (Avtodor SC), the contractor is Koltsevaya Magistral LLC (a part of IFSK ARKS LLC). The facility has been constructed since 2015, the planned commissioning date is Q4 2020. Gazprombank will provide the contractor with financing of 4.3 billion RUB to complete the construction in time.

Launch complex No. 5 will pass from the 11th kilometer of A-107 Highway to M-10 "Russia" Highway through the territory of four urban districts of the Moscow Region (Naro-Fominsk, Odintsovo, Istra and Solnechnogorsk). Its length will be 76.4 km. Upon completion of the works, the section will become a four-lane highway and will connect the main outbound highways of the Moscow Region. The project provides for construction and reconstruction of 26 artificial structures: 9 bridges, 12 junctions and 5 transport junctions.

"Gazprombank has a lot of running and already implemented projects in transport infrastructure, including the third and fourth sections of the Central Ring Road. The fifth launch complex of the Central Ring Road is another important milestone on the way to improve the accessibility of many settlements in the Moscow Region. It is also important in general for the dynamic development of the entire Central Economic Region of Russia. The project will become a key element of the transport system of the capital region and will significantly unload the roads in the western part of Moscow Region," Pavel Brusser, Executive Vice President – Head of the Department of Infrastructure Projects and Public-Private Partnerships of Gazprombank stated.

"The State Company has a task to develop a network of high-speed roads in Russia. According to it, Avtodor is building new highways and reconstructing the existing ones. After completion of all works on the Central Ring Road, it will become one of the key arteries of the country, which will allow motorists to reach their destination quickly, safely and comfortably. The State Company makes every effort to launch traffic along the entire highway in 2021, and on a number of sections already in this year," Aleksey Borisov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Avtodor State Company noted.

"Of course, CRR-5 is very important for residents of Moscow and Moscow Region. Commissioning of this section will unload the roads and reduce significantly the number of traffic jams,"  Aleksey Denisov, General Director of ARKS Group of Companies commented. "Employees of Koltsevaya Magistral, a subsidiary of IFSK ARKS, approach bindingly to the quality of construction of the road pavement and all structures. Moreover, we think that financial participation of Gazprombank in the project will provide invaluable assistance in implementation of this large-scale project".
