The contractor arranges sites for inert materials (sand, crushed stone and sand and crushed stone mixes), deploys production facilities and arranges temporary camps on the section with a length of 82 kilometers. This will allow beginning the construction on the 7th stage of M-12 in Chuvashia and Tatarstan immediately after obtaining a positive conclusion of Glavgosexpertiza (General Board of State Expert Review) of the Russian Federation.

The specialists also started comprehensive arrangement of temporary roads and entrances to the future engineering structures. Erection of about 35 structures in total is planned on the 7th stage, one of which is the bridge over the Sviyaga river.

The designers propose to install the bridge on pile footing of in-situ reinforced concrete. The river crossing will connect Kaibitsky and Apastovsky districts with Verkhneuslonsky district. The length of the new bridge will be 1,360 meters, the width will be about 20 meters, with two lanes in each direction.

Currently, the preparatory works and installation of drill wells for test works on soil exploration are carried out on the approach to the future bridge.

Currently, about 200 people and 116 equipment units operate on the 7th stage. All works on the stage are carried out according to the schedule in a normal mode.
