Fatigue is one of the main cause of road accidents

In autumn, as the days get shorter, people tend to feel more tired. Most accidents with devastating outcomes happen during the night, not just in dark places. You should not lower your guard on roads with artificial lighting. Three road accidents that happened last week proved that. Seven people, including children, lost their lives in the accidents.

The investigation will determine the exact circumstances, but preliminary information suggests that the primary cause was human element.

The car's driver was driving to Moscow during the night. The footage from the surveillance cameras revealed that the car had abruptly switched from the left lane to the right one. The car hit a light pole at the side of the road. What was the reason for the car's loss of control? Was the driver exhausted to fall asleep in the driver's seat?

The outcome was tragic, with only a six-year-old passenger survived out of the five people in the car. At the same time, neither the survivor nor the other two kids were restrained in car seats and were not buckled up.

In the other car crash, seatbelts saved the lives of two kids, however their parents died. The third illuminative accident was caused by a KAMAZ driver falling asleep at the wheel due to fatigue. The truck struck an overpass support. The unfortunate outcomes of the accident were the death of the passenger and hospitalization of the driver.
