Lugansk People's Republic upgrades 39 km of the Georgievka-Rovenki highway
In the Lugansk People's Republic, Russian Highways State Company is renovating 39 km of the Georgievka-Rovenki highway. This road is one of the main routes to Lugansk.
Now the work on clearing the right-of-way continues, the old pavement is being milled. The roadway base will be laid, followed by two layers of asphalt concrete pavement, reinforced shoulders, bus stops, pavilions, road signs, curbs, barrier fencing, and markings.
This road connects the village of Georgievka and the town of Rovenki, where socially important facilities are located. In addition, it is used by bus routes to Lugansk. By the end of the year, the works are expected to be finished.
