Toll-based operation of this section is implemented by virtue of Regulation No.18 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated January 19, 2010, and RExecutive Order No. 2267-p of the Government of the Russian Federation dated November 14, 2014.
The toll will be collected at toll collection points located on the 545th and 620th km of the highway. The total length of the toll section amounts to 89 km. When driving towards Rostov, the toll will be collected at the TCP on the 545th km for the 44,7 km up to the intersection to the town of Liski, at the exit from the toll section, at the TCP on the 620th km, the toll will be collected for the remaining 44,3 km of the road. When driving towards Moscow, the toll will be collected on the same principle: at the TCP on the 620th km - for the 44,3 km up to the intersection to the town of Liski, at the TCP on the 545th km - for the remaining 44,7 km of the road.

The M-4 “Don” highway section 544 km - 633 km was put into toll-free test operation after a complex construction on November 20, 2015. In the course of the construction, the highway was brought up to IБ category. The number of lanes amounts to two in each direction.
544 km section of the M-4 “Don” highway starts in Novousmansky Disctrict of the Voronezh Region. 633 km section of the M-4 “Don” highway ends in Bobrovsky Disctrict of the Voronezh Region. Highway section 544 km - 633 km passes through 3 districts of the Voronezh Region - Kashirsky, Bobrovsky, and Liskinsky. The road includes 8 road interchanges, 3 farm-market overhead crossings, and 38 junctions in the same level (including 25 exit ramps). Through 500 m of its length, between 552th and 553rd km, the highway passes Svobody Str. in the village of Kashirskoe.
The federal M-4 “Don” highway Moscow - Voronezh - Rostov-on-Don - Kransodar - Novorossiysk is the main vertical axis of the road network of the Russian Federation, which connects central and northern regions of the European part of the country with North Caucasus, Black Sea coast, and Novorossiysk sea port. The total length of the highway is over 1,500 km. In May, 2010, M-4 “Don” highway was placed in trust to the “Avtodor” State Company. After the commissioning of new high-speed sections, 918,172 km of the M-4 “Don” highway fell under IБ category, 101,135 km - under IА category, and 100,629 km - under IВ category. As a result of the large-scale reconstruction carried out by the State Company “Avtodor”, the M-4 “Don” highway is expected to fall under the first technical category by 2019.
200 km section of the M-4 “Don” highway length is currently put into toll-based operation. Particularly, taht is the section in the Moscow Region (between 48th and 71th km), detours of the City of Bogoroditsk (between 225th and 260th km) and the city of Efremov (between 287th and 321st km) in Tula Region, the city of Yelets and the village of Yarkin (between 330th and 414th km), the City of Zadonsk and the village of Khlevnoe (between 414th and 464th km) in the Lipetsk Region, and the city of Voronezh (between 492nd and 517th km) For more details about sections layouts and toll rates, please visit the official website of State Company Russian Highways.
